    Today the project was completly introduced. We learned how to make a Wiki page in class. The website is self-explanatory and easy to navigate. Tonight the homework is to make a timeline. Maryhelen has genorously offered to do a first draft.

    Maryhelen told me that she took a webdesigning class this summer, so I am glad we are partners. I will begin researching tomorrow. We need to do information on the history, anatomy, and basic info of bifido. Also we need to keep an eye out for videos and graphics to include on the page. Also i need to remember to write down things for the bibliography.

    In class we had the timeline checked. It was alright except for we needed to be more specific with the tasks we were doing. We finished that up in class. Now our schedule is pretty much completly organized. That will make things a lot easier for these next two weeks.

    Tonight I did some research on the bacteria. Also I plan on organizing the web page more. Maryhelen will do the same. I know basically what it is now. Also today in class we made an rough draft outline for the web page.

    Today during class we learned how to cite things from the free web. That is a very good thing. I looked up the bacteria a lot last night on the school's recommened sources and found very little info. However when I used Google I found much more info. Interesting.

    Now that I know we are allowed to use free web I will do a lot more free web searching. We got a form to fill out that will say what exactly it is to do for those sites. On the schedule tonight is to make an outline for the page. We pretty much already did that, but I will make another and Maryhelen proably will do the same. That way we can make any revisions.

    Today in class we worked a lot on the layout of our project. We havn't really decided on a final design. We aren't having any arguments it's just that we can't think of what to put. We were considering putting a video but we realized we didn't know what type of bifidobacterium video we would be able to fine.

    Tonight I plan on doing more research. Also I am going to think of more designs for the site. I am sort of bummed that we have to fill out a free-web form for each picture we get. That might put a limit on how many pictures we show.

    Today during class we hade a lab. We didn't get to work on the project. At all. So during study hall I researched a little. I got a lot of resources.

    We found a lot of pictures. We still need to fill out lots of free web responses. I have gotten a lot more information. I have a basic understanding of bifidobacterium. I am starting to get a more in depth understanding about it.

    I researched a lot today. I need to work on the web site more. I created a page called  In the News. It is about bifidobacterium In the News. It is now popular as aiding in digestion. There were quite a few articles.

    I need to fill out the free web evaluations. For the pictures and the news stories. I saved a document on Word that has all the sites on it. I wonder what Maryhelen is doing. Something very smart and beneficial I'm sure.

    I didn't do that much work on the project today. Insted I thought very hard about what I need to do. I still need to fill out my free web evaluations. For my information, and for the pictures. Also I need to do yet more research.

    I need to look up b longum, a specific type of bifido. I talked about this in the In the News page so I probably need to have more about it. Also I need to look up more about Probiotics. And their relationship to bifido. I think Maryhelens doing the same.

    Maryhelen did a lot of work this weekend. She showed me what she's added, and it looks great. However, she did include some videos that were sort of irrelevent. But I don't think she has any intentions on keeping them.

    I hope we arent behind. I hope we're at a good stage for this project being done Sunday. Someone showed me their page, and it was way less than we had done. Hopefully were okay. Also my bacteria was written on my friends yougurt at lunch today. I thought that was kind of cool.

    We worked in class on this the whole day. It was great. We got sort of a lot done. What makes me mad is how hard this program is. It will never do what I really want it to, it's so aggravating.

    Tonight I'm going to work on a crossword puzzle. Marhelen took a lot of notes. I will also work more on the in the news page. Yes.

    In class we did a lab. We had no time to work on the project. We have gotten a lot of the organization done. However there is still a lot to do. Im a little worried. I hope Maryhelen isn't.

    I still need to fill out free web evaluations. I keep putting that off. I would like to see Maryhelens notes and then we can get the rest of the pages filled out. This wiki program is extremley difficult for me to understand. We still have a lot to do, and I hope we get it all done in time.

  Today I worked a lot. I finished a few web site evaluations that Maryhelen started. We still have a lot to do. I am worried, but we can do it.

    I need to finish web site evaluations. We have begun working on those which is a good thing. I am also going to work on organizing the site. I would like to read through Maryhelen's notes.

   Yesterday during class I got to work on it a little. I organized it a little bit more. During study hall I started working on the bibliography. We have a lot of sources. Also I found some more pictures.

    I made a slide show for the pictures. It looks pretty good. I need to fill out free web evaluations. The deadline is approaching rapidly. Im a little worried.

 

12-15

  I realized that I hadnt saved my bibliography apparently. That made me really angry. I fixed it, though. So its alright. This project is really wearing on me. It is a lot of work.

    I worked on anatomy page.It doesn't have that much information. It has everything that applies, though. So that should be enough. Tomorrow should just be a perfecting day.

 

12-16

   FINAL JOURNAL!!! We are now pretty much finished. I am very happy with the way that it turned out. It was a lot of work. However I think we did a very good job. Today I worked on the anatomy page. Also a little of the layout, but that is just so frustrating for me. Luckily Maryhelen has a lot more patience than I do when it comes to that. We have one hour to turn it in. This is exciting, Im a little nervous.
